![]() My issue is more on the voices used for Wymack and Andrew. ![]() When he's just narrating as Neil for his inner monologue (of whatever that's technically called), it's not great, but acceptable. ![]() His voice is too rough, too guttural, and overall just too.grating for what I would have imagined the Foxes to sound like. The narrator is Alexander Cendese and this isn't my first time listening to one of his audiobooks, but I don't think he works well here. I'm not a fan of the audiobook for The Foxhole Court. I've been waiting for the audiobook for what feels like FOREVER now because audiobooks make re-reads go so much faster and it saves up time when I'm trying to read e-books or physical books. This two-star rating is solely based on the narrator's performance and not for the story (which is a five-star read for me). ![]() This is my early LGBTQIAP+ book reads and I absolutely love the series, despite some of the issues. ![]()
